Kulen Mountain & Banteay Srei Shared Tour

See one of the most sacred spots in Cambodia!

Morning Time

We'll leave after breakfast and head out to Phnom Kulen (Kulen Mountain) which is an isolated chain of moutains in the Dangrek Mountain Range. It stretches for around 40km and is about 45km outside of Siem Reap town. At the highest point, the mountain reaches 487m and it averages above 400m across the range.

Kulen Mountain is formed from sandstone and was used a quarry during the Angkorian period. The major quarries used at this time were in the southeast area of the mountains. In this area of the Phnom Kulen National Park, you can see the natural waterfalls.

Afternoon Time

In the afternoon, we'll head over to Banteay Srei temple which is located about 37km away from Siem Reap town. You'll also have the opportunity to stop at a local community along the way and I will help you to experience the daily life of the locals living there. We can also taste some palm wine and palm sugar (depending on the season) and try other local products.

TOUR INFORMATION

Entrance fee for the temples are $37 for a 1-day pass, $62 for a 3-day pass, and $72 for a 1-week pass.
Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
You are advised not to bring valuables with you on the tour.
You must cover your knees and shoulders when entering the temples.
Payment is required before starting the tour. It can be paid to the driver/guide on the day.
We require 24 hours cancellation notice prior to your scheduled starting the tour, otherwise we will charge you cancellation full fee.
